How it works

Three steps, a few minutes. Here is how to get the clearest comparison.

1. Prepare your files

2. Read the result

  1. Summary. The top card tells you whether the quotes can be compared and what to watch out for.
  2. At a glance. One table with every quote side by side: price, permits, debris removal, cleanup, money up front and how long the price holds.
  3. What is different. The main differences in short sentences.
  4. Each quote. The price, what is included, and the questions to ask that contractor. Tap “More details” for everything else we found.
  5. See in PDF. Every point opens the exact page and line it came from.

Included The quote says this is part of the work or the price.

Not included The quote says this is excluded or done by someone else.

You handle it The quote says this is your responsibility.

Partly included Some of it is included and some is not. Read the details.

Not mentioned — ask We found no wording about it. It may still be included — ask the contractor.

Quote B looks cheaper, but it leaves out permits and says nothing about removing the old roof. Ask B what those would cost before comparing the totals.

Privacy

If something goes wrong

A file cannot be read
It may be a blurry photo, protected with a password, or too large. Try a PDF saved directly from the contractor's email or website.
The comparison stopped
Use “Refresh status”. If it still does not finish, start a new comparison with the same files.
The link does not open
Links expire after 24 hours, and the local preview must be running. Start a new comparison with your files.
The result looks wrong
Open “See in PDF” to check the original page. The tool reads words, and unusual layouts can confuse it.
